# Privacy Policy

GitAnyUpdate collects minimal data necessary for the service to function:

• GitHub Account Data: We access your GitHub profile, organizations, and projects through GitHub's OAuth. We do not store your GitHub credentials.
• License Information: Your email address and license key for subscription management.
• Machine Identifiers: Anonymous machine IDs to manage license activations (max 3 devices).

When you use Google Sheets sync:

• Data Access: We use the drive.file scope to create and modify only the spreadsheets which have been created by this application or which you have specifically selected to use with this application. We do not have access to any other files in your Google Drive.
• User Data: We access your Google account email address to provide personalized synchronization settings.
• Direct Transfer: Data is transferred directly between your VS Code environment and Google APIs - we do not store your spreadsheet content on our servers.
• Control: You can revoke access anytime via Google Account Settings.

• Local Storage: Tokens and settings are stored locally in VS Code's secure storage.
• Server Storage: Only license activation data is stored on our servers (AWS).
• Retention: License data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days.

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Stripe: For payment processing (email, payment info).
• AWS: For hosting our license validation API.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Cancel your subscription at any time
